GO GO GO !!!!!!!! The Manager
yells when our horses are in the finish.
THE DREAM BEGINS {a work in
progress} CHANGING TO MEET TODAY'S BUSY LIFESTYLE
Back in January 2005
Druidracing was a dream, in a few months the dream gradually gained
momentum and Cowra Pacing Syndications surfaced as the early name with a
free website started. A model was based on various other syndication
methods circulating at the time but after some consultation the idea was
altered, changed and designed and another model was designed and finally
with a lot of help and persistence we have arrived at the current
structure.
Just over 3 years into the
dream we have had 5 winners {enjoyment plus} and we are improving our
stock to increase the competitive edge that is required to compete
successfully in Harness Racing.
With our association with
ABALEETAH RACING STABLES it has given the Dream a huge move forward.
Druidracing was named after
our first horse Cashel Druid. When Cashel Druid required a spell we
purchased Zed Ex Ten a rather large animal compared with Cashel Druid.
A trip to the Goulburn ready
to run sales we purchased 2 unamed 2YO , a colt by Aces nd Sevens
and a Filly by OK BYE.
The filly had 2 starts as a
2YO Chloe no Clue was retired after a injury sustained in a storm.
Not raced as a 2YO now named Druids Ace
showed early promise with a solid first up 4th at Young.
The Stable increases by 2 . we
have obtained an interest in Very good race mares Northern Delight and
Sorry I Aint .
After purchasing the interest
in these mares and enjoying success with a 2nd and 3rd i had
trouble as they turned for home " which one do I cheer for" Ummm
both top feeling.
Off to Menangle (the soon to
be Home of Harness racing in NSW). Excitement Plus with our 2 mares in
the final. Ruled out by the form guide Northern Delight sat in the death
then treated a strong field with contempt and charged home to win to the
delight of the owners 50/1, unfortunately Sorry I aint dropped out to
finish last.
Sorry I Aint has since been
sold and now still races in the Wagga Area.
Northern Delight (2 wins)
raced on to win another race at Canberra and solid second at Harold Park
(redemption 27.6 last 1/4), she was retired in early Feb 2010.
Along came a 3YO filly JEN
AICH larger than first thought with a few interesting talents.
July 2010 saw the end of the
Career of Cashel Druid 102 starts 5 wins and 23 places.
He bowed out gracefully
winning 3 races Parkes, Cowra and Forbes (presidents cup) after the
decision to retire him.
With a small team of horses Druidracing brings
enjoyment to all and sundry who are involved.
LIVE THE DREAM !!!!!!!!!
BE PART OF MY DREAM that turned into reality.
Thanks for reading this dream,
call me and I can tell you how great it is to race Standard Breds
